Two people from Lolo, Mont., were injured when their motorcycle struck a deer June 29 a mile south of Twisp on Highway 20.
     Fred Reed, 69, was eastbound around 9:38 a.m. when his motorcycle hit the deer, according to a Washington State Patrol accident report.
     He suffered possible fractured ribs and chest injuries.
     A passenger, Susan Reed, 66, suffered a wrist fracture and leg abrasions, according to the patrol.
     Both were transported by ambulance to Mid-Valley Hospital, Omak.
     The motorcycle was destroyed.
