Okanogan County Sheriff's Office is looking for a 36-year-old male who fled the scene of a stabbing July 2 in Okanogan.
Deputies were called to the Ponderosa Motel at 9:18 p.m. on a report of a fight in progress, reports sheriff Frank Rogers.
"Bottom line there is not a lot to the story," said the sheriff.
He said there had been a party at a residence, and during the party the victim, Joshua M. Fink, 24, Omak, got into a fight with a male from Omak.
The other male subject is now the suspect in the stabbing of Fink in the throat area, Rogers said.
LifeLine Ambulance transported Fink to Mid-Valley Hospital, where he had surgery for a stab wound.
"We do know who he (suspect) is and at this time are still looking for him," said Rogers.
