Open rodeo, bull event planned in Nespelem
     Nespelem Rodeo Association will put on the Nespelem Open Jackpot Rodeo and Bull-O-Rama July 11-12 at the rodeo grounds.
     The events are in conjunction with the annual powwow, an alcohol- and drug-free event, say organizers.
     The bull event and jackpot barrel racing start at 6 p.m. Friday, July 11.
     Stock contractor is Red Knection, Keller.
     Admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and juniors.
     Saturday's rodeo starts at 2 p.m. with a grand entry.
     Standard events include saddle bronc, bareback and bull riding along with barrel racing and wild horse race.
     Also planned are junior barrel racing, junior steer riding, mutton bustin' and a horse race.
     After competition will be a tug-o-war and mud wrestling.
     Admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and juniors.
