Motorcycle accident near Carlton injures two
     A Wenatchee man and his passenger were injured when their motorcycle left Highway 153 July 12 about two miles north of Carlton.
     Craig A. Takacs, 40, was southbound around 1:55 a.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle that came to rest in the southbound ditch.
     He was flown to Harborview Hospital in Seattle with head, chest and right knee injuries.
     A passenger, Melissa E. Renkert, 39, suffered a right arm injury. She was transported by ambulance to Douglas Okanogan County District Hospital in Brewster.
     The motorcycle was destroyed.
