Community Action gets $300,000 grant, seeks contractors
Okanogan County Community Action will receive $300,000 from the state Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development for home rehabilitation for low-income homeowners throughout Okanogan County.
"An important component of community development is engaging our local contractors and vendors in the work we do," said Lael Duncan, executive director. "It's vital to us to keep the dollars spent on renovation in the county if possible."
The agency is seeking licensed, bonded and insured contractors for home improvement projects. More information is available from Community Action, 422-4041.
