An Indian Taco Feed to raise money for the family of Ryder Abrahamson will be held Aug. 16, according to organizer Melissa George.
     Eight-month-old Ryder Abrahamson, son of Jonathon and Nichole Abrahamson, Omak, received emergency heart surgery in Spokane on Aug. 1.
     The benefit dinner will be held at the Okanogan Eagles on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 4-7 p.m.
     Ryder's Run, a fun run/walk at the Sports Complex in Okanogan, is also being planned for Saturday, Sept. 6 at 9 a.m.
     People can register for the run at the Indian Taco Benefit for a $20 donation to the family or at the event with a $25 donation.
     All walkers/runners who register by Aug. 30 will receive a T-shirt after the race. Those who register after the deadline will receive a T-shirt the following week.
     "This is a great way to be healthy and support this young family," said race organizer Trisha Bradley. "This event is for all ages."
