An Okanogan woman was injured when the car she was driving went off Highway 17 about 12 miles northwest of Coulee City Oct. 10.
Monica E. Siegel, 32, was driving southbound when her vehicle drifted onto the shoulder, then went back to the left and into a rock wall, according to the Washington State Patrol.
She received bumps, bruises and soreness, and was taken by aid car to Okanogan-Douglas District Hospital, Brewster.
A passenger, Martin V. Gutierrez, 6, Okanogan, was not injured but was taken to the Brewster hospital as a precaution, according to the patrol report.
Siegel’s vehicle was destroyed.
