Four people were injured when the vehicle in which they were riding left Highway 17 northwest of Coulee City and rolled over Oct. 17, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Driver Antonio J. Ottolini, 17, Moses Lake, was headed northbound when he swerved to miss a deer, according to the patrol report. The vehicle left the road and rolled over about 6:40 p.m. about seven miles northwest of Coulee City.
Ottolini complained of a sore neck and was transported by aid car to Columbia Basin Hospital, Moses Lake. The vehicle he was driving was destroyed.
Three of Ottolini's four passengers were injured, according to the patrol report. All are from Moses Lake.
Noble S. Ciebart, 18, received a broken neck, and Brett M. Mills, 18, Moses Lake, received a sore shoulder, as did William E. Young, 16.
Erin L. Young, 18, was not injured.
The injured were taken to Columbia Basin Hospital. All five were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
