Loup ski swap planned for Nov. 15
The annual Loup Loup Ski Swap and Winter Gear Sale is planned for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Agriplex at the Okanogan County fairgrounds.
The event, which brings together buyers and sellers of winter sports, supports the Loup Loup Volunteer Ski Patrol.
According to a ski patrol announcement, the event is “a great way to turn over your old equipment and find some great deals.”
In addition to personal equipment there will be loads of skis, boards, boots, clothing and accessories from Arlberg Sports, the Bike Shop, Liquidation Sports, Mount Pilchuck Sports and Rawson’s, say orghanizers.
“This will also be your last chance to get a season’s pass (to the Loup) at the fall price,” said organizers.
     For
sellers, equipment drop-off is from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14.
Unsold equipment and checks can be picked up from 3-5 p.m. Saturday.
A $2 entry fee will be charged; those under 12 will be admitted free, according to the announcement.
Terms of sales are cash or check (with ID) only. No credit cards will be accepted, according to the organizers.
     More information is available at info@skitheloup.com, (509) 557-3401 or 1 (866) 699-5334.
