BREWSTER - Three people were injured when two vehicles collided about four miles north of Brewster on U.S. Highway 97 April 11.
     Larry L. Faulkner, 48, Wenatchee, was southbound around 1:54 p.m. when he attempted to turn left from the highway, according to the Washington State Patrol.
     Jason C. Blue, 36, Riverside, was attempting to pass Faulkner, whose vehicle struck Blue's vehicle as it was passing, the patrol reported.
     Blue suffered scratches and bruises.
     Faulkner was taken by ambulance to Okanogan-Douglas District Hospital, Brewster.
     A passenger in Blue's vehicle, Toni M. Holder, 33, Omak, also was injured and taken to the hospital.
     Three children in Blue's vehicle, ages 10, 8 and 4, were not injured.
     All those in the vehicles were using restraints, the patrol reported. Both vehicles were destroyed.
