BRIDGEPORT - Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to a theft, fight and mischief last weekend.
A woman on Grange Road said someone took a lawnmower and weed eater from her carport during the night.
An unknown woman scratched a pickup around 1:45 a.m. at a tavern.
Deputies responded to a report of an assault behind a residence on Columbia Avenue at 6:20 a.m.
They contacted two men, one of which had a bruise over an eye. Information was forwarded to the prosecutor for possible charging of fourth-degree assault, Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal said.
"As far as crime, it was slow," Gjesdal said of the last week around Bridgeport.
