RIVERSIDE - A 35-year-old Okanogan man was severely injured when his vehicle left U.S. Highway 97 a mile north of Riverside and rolled over several times June 19.
Marcus A. Schiell Goss was southbound around 4:35 p.m. when he drove onto the southbound dirt shoulder, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Goss, who was not wearing a restraint, apparently overcorrected to the left and then back to the right, the patrol said. His vehicle went road off the southbound shoulder and rolled over several times.
Goss was transported by LifeLine Ambulance to Mid-Valley Hospital in Omak and then airlifted to Deaconess Medical Center, Spokane.
His vehicle was destroyed.
