PATEROS - A Mansfield man that was a passenger in a two-vehicle crash Aug. 29 here was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
     Rory R. Carmack, 20, Pateros, was southbound in his car when he attempted a turn from U.S. Highway 97 onto Dawson Street around 10:40 a.m.
     Joseph D. Bighouse, 52, Pateros, was northbound and struck Carmack’s car in the northbound lane.
     A passenger in Carmack’s vehicle, Matthew J. Delozier, 20, suffered hand and leg injuries, and a fractured pelvis.
     Carmack suffered abrasions. He was transported by ambulance to Okanogan-Douglas District Hospital in Brewster.
     Bighouse was not injured.
     All three used restraints.
     Both vehicles were destroyed.
