ELMER CITY - A Nespelem school bus was damaged Sept. 10 in a crash on state Highway 155 at the north city limits of Elmer City.
     The bus received about $2,500 damage, the Washington State Patrol said.
     There were no students on the bus, according to the district.
     Driver Flora L. Long, 59, Coulee Dam, was stopped to make a left turn onto Williams Street when the bus was hit from behind by a car driven by Katie M. Foster, 20, Spokane, the patrol said.
     Foster received arm injuries and was taken to Coulee Community Hospital, Grand Coulee. Her car was destroyed.
     The crash occurred at 3:40 p.m. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
     The bus was drivable.
