Crash near Brewster injures two
BREWSTER - Two people were injured in a vehicle crash at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 3 about 3.2 miles south of Brewster on state Highway 173.
Driver M. Dolores Rodriguez Luna, 39, Brewster, received minor scrapes. She was southbound when her car went off the road into the southbound ditch, then went to the right and re-entered the ditch, the Washington State Patrol said.
The car, which was destroyed, rolled over and came to rest on its wheels.
A passenger, Evelyn Rojas, 10, Brewster, received an arm injury. She was taken to Okanogan-Douglas District Hospital, Brewster.
Another passenger, Jennifer Verez, 8, Brewster, was not injured.
All three wore seat belts, the patrol said.
