METHOW – A driver complained of back pain after she swerved to miss a deer and crashed into a guardrail on state Highway 153 about seven miles north of Methow Oct. 7.
     Terry Bolinger, 50, Methow, was taken to Okanogan-Douglas District Hospital, Brewster, the Washington State Patrol said.
     She was headed north at 7:55 a.m. when she swerved to miss the deer. Her vehicle went off the road to the right, then re-entered the road and struck the southbound guardrail, the patrol said.
     Bolinger was wearing a seatbelt. Her vehicle received about $5,000 worth of damage.
