SOAP LAKE - Three Brewster residents were injured Oct. 11 in a two-vehicle crash a mile south of Soap Lake on state Highway 17.
Jorge Talavera-Arevalo, 23, was driving south on state Highway 17 when his car collided with a westbound car driven by Patricia Ann Cox, 77, Soap Lake, the Washington State Patrol said. Cox was westbound on Road 19, which had a stop sign.
Talavera-Arevalo received internal injuries and was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane.
Cox was taken to Central Washington Hospital, Wenatchee, for treatment of fractured ribs.
Naum Molinero-Pamatz, 18, Brewster, received a rib injury and was taken to Columbia Basin Hospital, Moses Lake. Another passenger, Angel M. Lucas, 21, Brewster, was taken to the Moses Lake hospital with neck pain, the patrol said.
Both vehicles were destroyed.
