TWISP - Three people were hurt Oct. 13 in a two-vehicle crash on snow-covered state Highway 20 between Twisp and Okanogan.
Driver Dylan S. Wolfe, 16, Winthrop, was eastbound on Loup Loup Pass about 6 p.m. when the car he was driving collided with a westbound pickup truck driven by Jeanie M. North, 46, Twisp, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Wolfe's vehicle skidded on the snow about 11 miles east of Twisp, the patrol said.
Neither Wolfe nor North was injured.
Three passengers in Wolfe's vehicle were injured. John H. Weeks, 56, Twisp, received a sprained finger; Mary L. Thompson, 73, Twisp, received two fractured ribs and a bruised lung, and Gretchen M. Dieringer, 59, Twisp, received a sore chest, the patrol said.
All were taken to Mid-Valley Hospital by ambulance.
A passenger in North's vehicle, Steven T. Desmond, 75, Twisp, was not injured.
All those involved were wearing seat belts. Both vehicles were destroyed.
