OLYMPIA - The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission announced its 2009-2010 winter schedule, with parks in Okanogan and Ferry counties scheduled to close soon for the winter.
More than 100 parks statewide will remain open seven days a week.
According to the commission, Alta Lake, Bridgeport and Conconully parks will close Oct. 27 and reopen March 20, 2010.
Curlew Lake and Pearrygin Lake parks close Oct. 27 and are scheduled to reopen March 27, depending on the weather.
Osoyoos Lake State Veterans Park closes Nov. 3 and reopens March 27.
Fort Okanogan Interpretive Center is open by appointment only.
