Weekend brings pumpkin patch event

     OROVILLE – Free pumpkins for kids to pick will be featured this weekend at The Great Pumpkin Patch hosted by REMAX Lake and Country with Taber’s Taste of Summer.
     A haunted hay ride runs from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, and the pumpkin patch will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
     There will be hot dogs and beverages available by donation on Saturday.
     Festivities will be at Taber’s Fruit Barn north of Oroville on U.S. Highway 97.
