OKANOGAN - The Okanogan County Tourism Council's annual banquet and workshop will be Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Okanogan Bakery.
The bakery is in the former Old Flour Mill building, 96 E. Pine St.
Clint Campbell, director of marketing at Campbell's Resort, Chelan, will provide the keynote address.
The event gets under way at 3 p.m. with a presentation, "Why is customer service important to your business?" The speaker be Geof Childs, Sun Mountain Lodge, Winthrop.
At 4:15 p.m., the topic switches to a panel discussion, "Where the tread meets the trails in Okanogan Country."
A half-hour of networking follows, with a grilled chicken breast dinner after that.
Tickets cost $19 in advance if purchased prior to Nov. 2 and $24 at the door.
