CONCONULLY - The U.S. Bureau of Land Management will carry out a prescribed burn of debris piles Nov. 2-4 about 1.5 miles northwest of Conconully.
The project area is north of Mineral Hill Road.
Burning will take place on public lands managed by the BLM. The burn will reduce excess fuel loading and disease levels, and reintroduce fire to the ecosystem, according to an agency announcement.
There will be no road closures, but some smoke from the burn may drift across the county road, the BLM said.
Signs will be posted on roads leading to the burn location.
