OMAK - Native American drummers and dancers will gather on Saturday, Nov. 21, for the 21st annual United Powwow at the Omak Longhouse.
The free event is open to the public and celebrates Native American Month.
The first grand entry will begin at 1 p.m., with dinner following at 5 p.m. and the evening session grand entry at 7 p.m. Sonny Quinto will serve as master of ceremonies.
All drummers and dancers are welcome, and host drums will be chosen at each session, organizers said.
The drug- and alcohol-free event is sponsored by the Wenatchee Valley College at Omak Red Road Association, Colville Confederated Tribes Omak TANF Youth Program, Omak School District and the Omak Tribal Head Start Parent Committee.
Those attending the dinner are asked to bring a dessert.
