Fund-raiser benefits Oroville man

     OROVILLE – A fund-raiser is planned Saturday, Nov. 21, for Roger McClendon, who faces some large medical bills.
     McClendon owns Yo Yo’s Restaurant, Oroville, and is a member of the Oroville Housing Authority and the Oroville Chamber of Commerce board.
     The benefit, which will include a baron of beef dinner with all the trimmings, is scheduled for the Eagles Saturday at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $15 each and are available at Windermere Real Estate and the Oroville Pharmacy, fund-raiser organizers say.
     An auction also is planned.
     He has supported many in the community, and now it’s time to give back, organizers said.
