OKANOGAN - Community members are invited to join those lighting the way as the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office takes the body of Parker Brown, 8, to Precht-Harrison Nearents Chapel today, Dec. 29.
     Folks will line Elmway with lit candles around the chapel at 2547 Elmway, Okanogan, according to several people planning to attend.
     The caravan should arrive between 2:30 and 3 p.m., Sheriff Frank Rogers said.
     Brown, whose father, Josh, works for the sheriff's office, died Dec. 20 in Seattle after a six-year battle with cancer.
     His memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at Omak High School.
