TONASKET - A 62-year-old Wauconda man suffered a head laceration and chest contusions Jan. 20 after his pickup truck left state Highway 20.
Robert E. Pardue was eastbound about a mile east of Tonasket when his vehicle skidded on a frosty road about 10:30 p.m., the Washington State Patrol said.
His pickup crossed into the westbound lane, went off the road, over an embankment and came to rest in a creek.
Pardue was transported by ambulance to North Valley Hospital, Tonasket.
His pickup was destroyed.
