Spaghetti feed and auction will benefit Oroville fire victim

     OROVILLE - A spaghetti feed and auction to benefit Jeff Austin will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Oroville Eagles Club.
     Austin's rural Oroville home was destroyed Jan. 11 by a chimney fire that spread. He escaped with his checkbook, grandfather's Civil War rifle and the clothes on his back. His son and other occupants of the home also made it out OK.
     He has operated the Oroville food bank for a dozen years and always is willing to do anything he can to help others, said his friend, Sheila Wise.
