EPHRATA – An Oroville man was not injured when the tractor-trailer he was driving was involved in a March 3 crash five miles west of Ephrata on state Highway 283.
Michael D. Stansbury, 58, was westbound when his rig collided in the westbound lane with an eastbound SUV driven by Joshua A. Horton, 31, Graham, the Washington State Patrol said.
Horton’s vehicle collided with the rear of Stansbury’s trailer, spun out and overturned. It landed on its top off the north side of the road.
He received a cut on the head and possible broken leg, the patrol reported. He was taken by ambulance to Columbia Basin Hospital, Ephrata.
His vehicle was destroyed. Stansbury’s trailer received about $1,500 damage.
