YAKIMA - Lakeside outscored the Okanogan girls basketball team in every quarter March 5 to eliminate the Bulldogs 38-29 from the state 1A tournament in the SunDome.
     The Bulldogs, who never led in the game, trailed 29-13 at the half.
     Okanogan shot 13-of-37 (31.7 percent) from the field and 0-4 on 3-point shots.
     Lakeside made 13-of-27 (30.6 percent) from the field and 2-of-22 on treys.
     Okanogan committed 17 turnovers compared to 13 for Lakeside.
     Jameka Townsend blocked three shots and led the Bulldogs with 13 points.
