Winthrop council considers events requests

     WINTHROP – The Town Council will meet at 7 tonight, March 17, to discuss special event applications for a wedding, Ride to Rendezvous and Winthrop Road Marathon.
     The meeting in the Winthrop Barn, 51 N. Highway 20, is open to the public.
     Council members also will discuss resolutions dealing with the mayor pro tempore position and an interfund loan.
