Principal candidates set for interviews in Brewster
BREWSTER – Four elementary school principal candidates will have interviews and meet with staff and the public this week.
Each candidate will have a full afternoon and evening. The schedule will include: 1:30 p.m. visit school and district office; 2:30 p.m. meet with administrative team; 3:30 p.m. meet with school staff; 4:30 p.m. meet with interview committee; 5:30 p.m. dinner with superintendent and school board; 7:30 p.m. community forum.
Three of the days this week will feature a different candidate. Kathleen Schrek canceled her Monday appointment, but is expected to reschedule.
Edmund Wong, Seattle School District, would have been Thursday, but accepted another position, Superintendent Aaron Chavez said.
Tuesday will be Denise Varner, Okanogan learning improvement coordinator. Thursday will feature Mandy Jessee and Friday will be Lynnette Blackburn, Pateros school counselor.
