PATEROS – A Brewster man was injured Aug. 24 when his SUV crashed on U.S. Highway 97 a half-mile north of town.
     Jonathon Bryce Scheller, 21, suffered a right shoulder injury. He was taken to Okanogan-Douglas District Hospital, Brewster, the Washington State Patrol said.
     Scheller was northbound at 1:49 a.m. when his vehicle went off the road’s left side and overturned, coming to rest on its side.
     The vehicle was destroyed. Scheller was not wearing a seatbelt, the patrol said.
