OKANOGAN – The Washington State Patrol has released the identity of a Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, woman who was killed Sept. 1 when her motorcycle hit a guardrail on state Highway 20 east of Loup Loup Pass.
Elaine A. Asher, 62, was eastbound about 0.8 mile east of the summit when her motorcycle went off the road's right side and hit the guardrail. She was ejected over an embankment and died at the scene.
Asher was wearing a helmet.
The motorcycle was destroyed.
