WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-5th District, gave birth to a daughter at 12:21 a.m. today, Dec. 1.
     Okanogan and Ferry counties are within her district.
     She and her husband, Brian Rodgers, have a son, Cole, 3.
     The baby, whose name has not yet been announced, weighed 8 pounds, 4.5 ounces.
     “Brian and I are overjoyed by the birth of our daughter,” McMorris Rodgers said. “Both the baby and I are healthy and doing well at the hospital. We look forward to bringing her home soon.”
     McMorris Rodgers is the first Member of Congress to give birth twice while in office, according to McMorris Rodgers Communications Director Todd Weiner.
