TWISP – A local woman died April 25 of an apparent suicide.
Mary Camille Pierce, 69, died of a gunshot wound, Twisp Police Chief Paul Budrow said. Her body was found half in the Methow River by a passer-by.
Budrow said a suicide note was found at Pierce’s nearby home. She’d been having medical and personal problems.
She apparently walked from her home to a path along the river, where she killed herself, he said.
