TWISP – “Ten Tiny Dances – Good Things Come in Small Packages” will take the Methow Valley Community Center stage, 201 Methow Valley Highway, at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 12.
The Methow Arts program features dance and theater performance in confined space, which challenges artists to invent ways of collapsing known and recognizable vocabulary to invent new vocabulary to respond to a 16-square-foot space.
The performance includes six dances from Seattle choreographers and four from Methow Valley choreographers. Local artists include Brooke Bourn, Lyndsay Frady, Salyna Gracie, Mary Graham, Sara Jinks, Deirdre Luvon, Danbert Nobacon, Joseph Weaver and Amalia Webber.
Tickets cost $15 in advance or $18 at the door. Those age 18 and younger will be admitted for $5. Reserved seating costs $25 for adults and $10 for children.
