OKANOGAN – An Alberta, Canada, motorcycle rider crashed July 12 on state Highway 20 about 11 miles west of town.
Kenneth M. Luft, 54, was eastbound at 2:52 p.m. when his motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve to the right and he lost control. The motorcycle came to rest on the right shoulder.
LifeLine Ambulance and Okanogan Fire Department were summoned to the crash near milepost 221.2.
Luft was taken by ambulance to Mid-Valley Hospital.
The cause of the crash was inattention, a State Patrol memo said.
There was a charge of wheels off roadway.
Luft’s motorcycle was impounded and taken to Randy’s Towing.
