     BREWSTER – Three women were killed and two people injured in a head-on crash Tuesday afternoon on U.S. Highway 97, six miles north of town.
     Shannon D. Santacruz, 42, and Theresa M. Santacruz, 24, both of Bridgeport, were pronounced dead at the scene, the Washington State Patrol reported.
     A third crash victim – a 46-year-old Okanogan woman whose name won’t be released until the family is notified – was also killed.
     Juan Santacruz, 22, and 2-year-old Christian Santacruz, both of Bridgeport, were injured and taken to Three Rivers Hospital.
     The 2001 Saturn driven by the unidentified woman crossed the center line and struck a 1995 Ford Taurus driven by Shannon Santacruz about 4:40 p.m., the State Patrol reported.
     State Patrol reported everyone in the crash was wearing a seatbelt. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
