Small convicted of aggravated murder, rape

     OKANOGAN - A cold case came to a close Wednesday afternoon at Okanogan County Superior Court after almost 15 years waiting for a verdict.
     A jury found Kelly Eugene Small, 50, Omak, guilty of first-degree aggravated murder, first-degree rape and first-degree burglary for the 1998 murder of Sandy Bauer.
     The maximum sentence for the crimes is life in prison without the possibility of parole. A sentencing date has yet to be set.
