OMAK - The Omak High School football game at Kettle Falls has been moved to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, in Kettle Falls.
The change to an afternoon game is due to state Department of Transportation plans to close the state Highway 20 bridge over the Columbia River from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Sunday as part of an ongoing repair project.
Manson will be playing at Liberty Bell at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, for the District 6 girls soccer title and a state 1B/2B tournament berth.
The game was pushed back due to students from both schools taking Scholastic Aptitude Tests on Saturday.
The winner also will be the Eastern Washington champion, since only one berth to state is from this side of the Cascade Mountains. The four-team tournament includes three from Western Washington.
