TONASKET - The Okanogan County Sheriff's Office is seeking help in finding a missing Tonasket man last seen Thursday, Nov. 8, at North Valley Hospital.
Arturo Arciga-Galvin, 27, was living at Thompson Orchards with family members when he went to the hospital for an undisclosed medical condition and was subsequently referred to mental health.
A brother that traveled up from California filed the complaint on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 13.
“I think among the family they probably talked to each other because no one came to talk to us,” Undersheriff Joe Somday said of the five-day waiting period after Arciga-Galvin went missing.
The Sheriff's Office has been searching near Thompson Orchards and the surrounding area as well as both shores of the Okanogan River looking for a lead.
“We're running out of areas to look,” Somday said. “You got the entire county, the entire state to look for him.”
Arciga-Galvin had been living in a cabin on Thompson Orchards.
He is on foot and left his driver’s license at home.
“He could be anywhere,” Somday said. “We know he's not in California.”
