CONCONULLY - A magnitude 2.9 earthquake rattled the mountains west of town at 5.39 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8.
The quake's epicenter was 0.9 mile deep and 19 miles west-northwest of Omak, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network and U.S. Geological Survey.
