Region sends nine teams to state qualifying games

     SPOKANE – There are nine regional high school basketball teams competing in regional state qualifying games Friday and Saturday.
     Here is a quick rundown on who is playing whom and where:
     Feb. 22
     1A Girls
     Brewster (District 6/7 No. 1) vs. La Salle (District 5 No. 4), 8 p.m. at Central Valley High School, Spokane - loser out
     Okanogan (District 6/7 No. 3) vs. Zillah (District 5 No. 1), 8 p.m. at West Valley High School, Yakima - loser out
     2B Girls
     Lake Roosevelt vs. Northwest Christian (District 7/9 No. 2), 6 p.m. at Mount Spokane High School
     1B Girls
     Republic vs. Yakama Nation, 8 p.m. Timberline High School
     Pateros vs. Neah Bay (District 1/2/3 No. 4), 8 p.m. at Eastmont High School
     Feb. 23
     1A Boys
     Brewster (District 6/7 No. 2) vs. Granger (District 5 No. 2), 4 p.m. at Central Valley High School, Spokane - loser out
     Okanogan (District 6/7 No. 1) vs. Columbia (Burbank) (District 5 No. 4), 6 p.m. at Central Valley High School, Spokane - loser out
