BREWSTER – Three people were injured March 16 in a two-vehicle crash two miles south of town on U.S. Highway 97.
Antonio M. Zabalza, 54, of Orondo, was northbound when he turned into the path of a southbound car driven by Cele O. McVay, 71, of Pateros, the Washington State Patrol said.
Zabalza, McVay and his passenger, Marilyn K. McVay, 63, of Pateros, were taken to Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster. All three were wearing seatbelts.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor, the patrol said.
Both vehicles were destroyed.
Zabalza was cited for failure to yield.
