Obituary: Larry Lavern Bogart
Larry Lavern Bogart, passed away Feb. 18, 2012, also known as Frog and Big Papa, was born in Black Duck, Hornet Township, Minn., to Byron and Violet Bogart.
He leaves his wife, Carol, of 51 years; three children, Christina, Chris and Naomi; three brothers, Vern (Muriel), Bryon (Patricia) of Everett, Wash., Stanley (Esther) of Arizona; three sisters, Bonnie (Al), Annie (Dennis), Betty (Ralph); and eleven grandchildren. Larry had many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss him dearly.
Larry lived in very few places in his life. He moved to Lake Stevens, Wash., in 1951. Then in 1965 he moved to Index, Wash., where he raised his family. In 2005, he made his final move to Omak, Wash.
Larry worked out of laborers Local 292. He loved to go hunting and fishing. His favorite spot was Wagon Camp, Conconully, Wash.
He was the modern day “Daniel Boone” and he could skin a deer faster than you could blink. Larry made the best sausage ever and gave it to many, many people.
He will always be in our hearts, your loving family.
