Betty Erb (formerly Nassen), 79, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012. She passed away at Kadlec Hospital in Richland, Wash.                 She was born Oct. 11, 1932 in New Florence, Missouri.
          Betty is survived by her six children, Jerry Nassen, 60, of Moose Pass, Alaska, Kate (Kathy Conner), 58, of Yakima, Eugene Nassen, 57, of Ellensburg, Wash., Charlotte Hodges, 53, of Arlington, Virg., Julia Butler, 51, of Kennewick, Wash. and Sheryl Johson, 33, of Eugene, Ore.; nine grandchildren, one deceased; and 12 great-grandchildren.
          Betty was employed as a cook for most of her life, and taught Montessori school for a period of time.
          Funeral services will be held at Morningstar Missionary Baptist Church in Pasco, Wash., on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at 1 p.m. with visitation from noon until 1 p.m. A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Gearhard Memorial Cemetery in Tonasket, Wash., which will be her final resting place.
