Obituary: Robert B. “Bob” Little Sr.
Robert B. “Bob” Little passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Central Washington Hospital with his family at his side. Bob was born March 29, 1939 to Idalene and Bryant Little. He was a life-long resident of Okanogan County.
He was a member of the Washington State Army National Guard and the local Eagles and Elks.
He worked for The Craftsman in Wenatchee until 1983 when he went into business for himself as R.B. Little and Company, selling printing and office supplies. Bob never completely retired as he loved his work but was forced to cut back due to health issues.
Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved camping and fast cars and most of all, his family.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Janice. They had three children, Rob (Simone) Little of Spokane, Darla (Larry)?Schreckengast, and Kelly (Tonya) Little, both of Okanogan; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; step-mother, Mildred Little of Vancouver, Wash.; sister, Carolyn Robinson, Bridgeport; brothers, Ken and Jeff (Bonnie) Little, both of Omak; and multiple nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Idalene; his father, Bryant; grandmother, Belle Townsend; and grandfather, Frank Townsend.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at First Baptist Church, 327 Rose St., Okanogan, with Pastor Paul Sheley officiating. A potluck will follow the services.
A viewing will be held from 1-4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel on?Elmway.
