Obituary:William “Bill” Crites
March 24, 1930-Nov. 22, 2012
     William “Bill” Crites was born March 24, 1930 in Huntington Park, Calif., to Dewey and Dorothy Crites.
     The family later moved to Cle Elum, Wash., where he went to school and graduated from Cle Elum High School with the Class of 1949.
     Bill was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired plywood plant employee, but was never idle in his retirement.
     He became known as “Crites The Can Man.”
     He was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene and was always willing to give a helping hand to those in need.
     He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie. Survivors include his brother, Joe, and wife, Linda Crites of Gig Harbor, Wash.; three nephews, one niece and their families.
