Obituary:Gale Lenae Zacherle
Gale Lenae Zacherle passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee at the age of 48. She was born to Lester Zacherle and Florence Mead and raised in Disautel, Wash. She attended Omak High School and later completed her GED. She was a homemaker and also worked as a teacher’s aide at St. Mary’s Mission for many years. She liked to go fishing, hunting, and to be outdoors as much as possible.
Gale is survived by her daughter, Rachel Zacherle of Omak; father, Lester Zacherle of Okanogan; brother, Gerald Zacherle of Omak; nieces, Faith Zacherle, Niki Zacherle, Kaylaya Zacherle, Trinity Zacherle, Ashley Zacherle, Macy Zacherle and Zoey Gau, all of Omak; nephews, Steven Zacherle, Jacob Zacherle, Ethan Zacherle and Louis Zacherle also all of Omak.
Gale was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Zacherle; grandmothers Rita Mead and Millie Zacherle; her grandfather, George Zacherle; and her brothers, Steve Zacherle and John Zacherle.
Traditional dressing was held 3:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at the Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel on Elmway in Okanogan. A Family Rosary was held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Omak Longhouse; Public Rosary was held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 at the Omak Longhouse. Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17 at the St. Mary’s Mission Catholic Church, with Father Jake Morton presiding.
Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel and the Okanogan County Crematory of Okanogan are caring for the arrangements.
