Ellensburg
     Pat Hartney, 88, went home to be with the Lord Jan. 10, 2010, at his home in Ellensburg, Wash. He was born May 10, 1921, in Manhattan Borough, New York City, to John and Mary (Malek) Hartney. He was raised in Glen Cove, Long Island, by his grandfather, Michael Hartwig, after the death of his mother when he was a young boy.

Okanogan
     Helena Lorraine Holdt Shiflett went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 8. Born to Hans and Caroline Holdt, June 26, 1909, on Badger Mountain. Helena was the seventh child of ten children.

     OMAK - Longtime Renton resident Katie Gotti Detrick died Jan. 7 at Apple Springs Assisted Living.
